Name: Lancaster Occupation: Ghost Detective Status: Alive Lancaster is a Ghost Detective by trade; albeit self-employed and freelancing like no one's business. Luckily, he resides in a town that's frought with visions of the supernatural, so it helps keep his rent paid and his belly full. His job is not unlike a normal detective, except detectives never had to deal with ghosts! He's also very knowledgable about the spirits and creates his own technology for handling and battling them when necessary.

Name: Dane Wattleson Occupation: Bus Clerk Status: Alive Dane is Lancaster's best friend, and inhabits the house on Pundit Hill, a creaky old shack left to him by his parents. Perpetually nervous and frightened, Dane felt it would be a good move to live in Northcod Lake(pop. 274) where very little happens and hold down a nice, safe position as a desk clerk at the bus station. Too bad his parents forget to tell him the house on Pundit Hill was haunted!

Name: Belknap Occupation: Ghost Status: ESCAPED Belknap is the ghost that haunts Dane's basement, and for some very strange reason is excited to meet up with(and kill) Lancaster. Why he chose Dane's basement and not Lancaster's is a mystery only the fanfic writers can solve. He has a really nasty attitude and a heavy disdain for the living, which is one mystery Lancaster has yet to solve.

Name: Mr Rat A. Touille Occupation: Restrauntier Status: Alive Mr Rat A. Touille owns the local fun, games and pizza eating establishment, which is a center of merriment and good times for all. That is until an animatronic robot in his likeness is posessed and runs amok! Naturally, the problem is easily singled out as a ghost, since in Northcod Lake, very little else happens. Luckily, Lancaster is but a phone call away.

Name: Rat A. Touille Robot Occupation: Ghost Status: ESCAPED The Rat A. Touille Robot is naught but a puppet in the hands of a mischevious spirit out for a little harmless violence and destruction of owned property. It makes sense then, that a spirit wish to inhabit a veritable tank of a body with multiple limbs and compartments, as soft, tender living bodies lack such amiable features. That doesn't mean it's totally indestructable by any stretch of the imagination, however...

Name: Frank Nurd Occupation: Bellhop Status: Alive Frank is the surly bellhop of the Angston Suites hotel, owned by his uncle and the only place for a weary traveller to spend the night in Northcod Lake at a dirt cheap price for top notch service. People say that the only reason this sourpuss continues to hold down his job at the hotel is because it's owned by his uncle, but as Frank would say: 'It's not my attitude that's the problem; it's the customers.' Say what you will, the man speaks truth.

Name: Hoyton Fulop Occupation: Hotel Owner Status: Alive Hoyton is one wheelin' dealin' dude. A stout businessman(and 'stout' applies to several other aspects of this fellow), he's owned many a business, and has plenty of experience businessing it up. He's also a tad on the cheap side, but when a ghost infects room 314 and begins scaring off customers, he's willing to pay through the nose to get rid of it.

Name: Patricia Twofold Occupation: Ghost Hunter Rank 3 Status: Alive Patricia works for the mysterious Eclipse Corporation. Not too many people in Northcod Lake have heard of the conglomerate due to the town's remote location, but rest assured they have a global impact on an obscene level. Patricia is hired at the same time and for the same job at Hoyton's hotel, and the race is on to see who can do the best and fastest job of ditching the ghost and getting paid! Of course since Patricia works on commission, she's determined to beat out Lancaster at all costs!

Name: Victoria Toley Occupation: Ghost Status: TERMINATED Victoria is one pissed off ghost, and had such a turbulent death that she can't even remember why she's so angry. All she wants is to be left alone in room 314, but no one can understand that because she scares everyone off. It'll take one hardned ghost hunter who's seen it all to soothe the spirit in room 314 and make the room safe for those who wish to rest there.

Name: Rufus Steeg Occupation: Eclipse Corp. Branch Manager Status: Alive Rufus Steeg is the branch manager in charge of handing the Northcod area's Eclipse offices. The Eclipse Corporation is a large international conglomerate that deals almost exclusively in ghosts and ghost-related products. Rufus' job is to manage the location sites and hire new recruits to perform field work for Eclipse. Rufus has a missing eye, but prefers to not wear an eyepatch, because he knows how uncomfortable people get looking at his sewn up eyesocket. That's just the kind of guy that Rufus is.

Name: Gus Breecher Occupation: Eclipse Corp. Field Research and Gathering Trainee Status: Alive Gus is new to the ghost hunting field, and Lancaster is burdened with showing Gus the ropes and imparting wisdom of how to handle a ghost. This is made difficult by the fact that Gus is terrified of ghosts, and made even more difficult because everything that Lancaster teaches him easily clashes with everything that he's learned from Eclipse. Gus is good-natured and is willing to work over his fear, because he loves his family very much and will do anything to support them.

Name:Gidday and Bleumin Occupation: Ghosts Status: PASSED TO AFTERLIFE Bleumin and Gidday are twin ghosts who terrorize a toy store in Northcod Lake because, hey, wouldn't you? They love making trouble and causing mischief and are pretty unruly and show very few signs of self restraint. It's a good sign to have children that like to visit your toy store, but it's bad if they're driving away all of your potential customers away, so Lancaster is on the job!

Name:Gorton Hummel Occupation: Underworld Punk Status: DEAD Gorton(or Gort, as his friends call him) spends his extra time learning everything he can about Underworld, something so mysterious that only the people directly involved with it know exactly what(or even who) it is. Everything relating to ghosts, death and general morbidness interests Gort to no end. That, and his girlfriend. That's about it.

Name: Illeana Mordon Occupation: ? Status: Alive Illeana is was Gort's girlfriend before his untimely death at the hands mouth of the Gormothyn, a fearsome monster of magnificent malevolence. Illeana also knows quite a bit about Fitchery, an obscure and ancient religion started by Fineas Fitch a long time ago. Not too much is known about Illeana, since she doesn't say much and keeps to herself mostly. But we're pretty sure she has some kind of relation with the Eclipse Corporation.

Name: The Gormothyn Occupation: EAT! Status: DEAD The Gormothyn is a terrifying and mysterious beast, so mysterious next to nothing is known about it. It's a rumor, however, that it somehow feeds off of the spirits of the deceased and plays a major role in the Fitchianity religious cult. If you encounter a Gormothyn, make sure you steer clear, especially if you plan on dying anytime soon, which will probably be the case if you encounter a Gormothyn.

Name: Racey Fairre Occupation: Inventor Status: Alive Racey... well, not much is known about Racey. Other than she knows quite a bit about Gormothyns and who knows what else...

Name: Cyro Occupation: Roller disco DeeJay/Ghost Status: Dead Cyro was the hippest hoppin' disc jockey at the Roller Boll, the hottest little party joint in Brahms. He can bust rhymes like red headed stepchildren, and when he was alive, was able to rap circles around anyone who dared to challenge him. His passion for this spurns his spirit to stay in this world until he finds a suitable opponent.

Name: Terrance Occupation: Data Developer Status: Alive Terrance works at an extremely high-stress job that keeps him on edge constantly and causes him to suffer from severe headaches from time to time. Terry is an insecure and shy person, and usually keeps to himself unless he's talking with his friend, Tasha. Terry seems to enjoy his life despite his rough job and constant pressure, but Lancaster just may change all of that.

Name: Tasha Occupation: Data Input Status: Alive Tasha is kind, generous, outgoing and Terry's best friend. She's one of the best data inputters at their office, which is even more of an accomplishment than normal, considering she's blind. She's one of the sweetest, nicest people you could meet, but there might be more to her than you can see at first glance.
